Whether this is your first massage or part of your regular wellness routine, your visit begins with a conversation. Here is everything you need to know.
Before You Arrive
Complete any requested intake information before your appointment. For your first visit, plan to arrive a few minutes early so you have time to settle in, ask any questions, and begin your session without feeling rushed.
Your Consultation
Your session begins with a brief conversation. Malyssa will ask about your goals, areas of tension, pressure preferences, any relevant health considerations, and how your body feels today. This helps her shape the session around what you actually need.
During the Session
Professional draping is used at all times. Only the area currently being worked on will be uncovered. You are always in control — please communicate at any time if you would like to adjust pressure, temperature, positioning, or technique.
What to Wear
You may undress to your own comfort level. You will remain professionally draped throughout the entire session. Most clients undress fully or to their undergarments, but you should do whatever feels comfortable for you.
Pressure and Communication
Massage pressure should never feel unsafe or intolerable. If the pressure is too deep, too light, or if anything feels uncomfortable, please say so. Malyssa will adjust immediately. Open communication makes for a better session.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your session may need to be shortened to avoid delaying the next client. Please plan to arrive on time so you can enjoy your full appointment.
